Hello and welcome to You Love Me As You Find Me.

This blog is a collection of stories and poems related to chronic illness, hope, and healing. My battle with chronic illness is two-fold. I was recently diagnosed with bipolar disorder and am a long-time sufferer of autoimmune disease. Chronic illness has tried to steal my joy and my faith, but God has sent me reminder after reminder of His love for me, primarily through the concrete blessings and care of my family and friends.

If you are here suffering through similar battles, know that my prayers are with you. I pray that my stories and poems will help remind you that you are not alone. Those of us suffering from chronic illness know all too well that this world is not our home, but as we suffer, we can be a source of encouragement to each other. We all have a tough battle to face. How we face it is up to us. I encourage you to join me in running the race with perseverance and God’s strength.
